About the procedure
What is EVLA
EVLA is a minimally invasive procedure in which a phlebologist uses a laser device to thermally treat varicose truncal or perforator veins. A laser fiber is inserted into the vein.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia through tiny 1–1.5 mm punctures, without incisions, general anesthesia, stitches or hospitalization.
