TreatmentWhat services does the Saphena clinic offer?
Saphena Clinic specializes in treating varicose veins of the lower limbs of any complexity, offering services such as phlebologist consultations, ultrasound diagnostics of the leg veins and treatment of varicose veins by EVLA and sclerotherapy, removal of spider veins, deep vein thrombosis and other vascular diseases. In addition to phlebologists, the clinic has lymphologists, a cosmetologist and a pediatric surgeon. Besides varicose veins, we treat hemangiomas and lymphedema of the upper and lower limbs and offer cosmetology procedures and therapeutic massage.
BookingHow do I book an appointment?
You can book by calling or messaging the clinic on WhatsApp at +7 700 888 7078, or by using the online booking form on our website. Our staff will help you find a convenient time to meet one of our specialists.
PreparationWhat should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring an ID (an electronic version is accepted), insurance information (if applicable), a list of current medications, any relevant medical records or previous test results, and a list of questions or concerns you may have. This will help our doctors form the most accurate picture of your condition.
TreatmentDoes treatment of varicose veins require hospitalization?
All procedures at Saphena Clinic are performed on an outpatient basis, which means you can go home the same day. These procedures usually take 30–60 minutes and require minimal recovery time or none at all.
CostCan treatment be paid for by an insurance company, pension savings or OSMS?
Many medically necessary vascular procedures are covered by insurance, especially when they address health problems rather than cosmetic ones. Our administrative staff can help you check your coverage and discuss payment options before the procedure. The clinic does not work with the compulsory medical insurance fund or the pension fund, so treatment paid for with OSMS or pension savings is not currently possible.
TreatmentHow soon after treatment or aesthetic procedures can I go back to work?
Recovery time depends on the type of procedure. After minimally invasive procedures such as sclerotherapy or endovenous laser treatment, most patients can return to normal activity within 24–48 hours. For more extensive procedures, recovery can take 1–2 weeks. If your job involves prolonged sitting or standing, it is recommended to take a couple of days off after treatment. Your doctor will give you specific instructions after the procedure, adapted to your situation. Patients after sclerotherapy, CLaCS therapy or aesthetic laser coagulation can return to their usual routine immediately after the procedure.
TreatmentCan varicose veins come back after treatment?
Although treatment effectively eliminates existing varicose veins, it cannot prevent new ones from developing. In some patients, over time, a recurrence may occur because of genetic predisposition, lifestyle factors, excess weight or prolonged static loads, but in new places. Regular follow-up visits and healthy habits can help minimize the risk of new varicose veins.
CostDo you offer installment payment for procedures?
Kaspi Bank installments at Saphena Clinic apply only to treatment procedures: EVLA (endovenous laser ablation), echosclerotherapy, a course of treatment for hemangiomas or vascular nevi, and a course of treatment for limb lymphedema.
CostWhy do consultation prices differ between doctors?
The cost of consultations with specialists depends on their length of service and experience. In any case, our less experienced specialists discuss their cases with more experienced colleagues.
